The quality of data deserves special attention. Models learn from what they are given. If historical data contains systematic errors – incorrect labeling, gaps, or sampling bias – the model will reproduce them in its forecasts. The principle of «garbage in, garbage out» is a fundamental law of data science. Investments in information quality often prove more significant to the final result than the choice of a complex model architecture.
