About the Author

Sandra Weisberg was born in Munich in the mid-60s. She chose journalism early on and quickly gained a reputation as a host who has no patience for empty words. Her motto: «Questions should cut like a scalpel.»

For many years she worked on news programs and talk shows tackling politics and society. When the chance arose to hold digital interviews with «neuro-ghosts,» Sandra saw it as a challenge: could the great minds of the past be drawn into today’s debates? That’s how «Weisberg.Woche» was born.

Her style is strict and restrained. There’s no room for small talk or jokes in her studio: she asks about power, responsibility, ethics – and never lets her guests wriggle out of an answer. Even Galileo or Freud end up «on the hot seat.»

Today, Sandra embodies the seriousness of the project. She’s valued for posing the toughest questions and conducting every conversation as if the future of society were on the line.
